PSS offers a wide range of stationary phase polarities to match the sample and mobile phase polarities based on the requirements of the Magic Triangle. All materials are compatible with a wide range of eluents, but show optimum performance in a specific mobile phase polarity range.
- Ideal mobile phases for a given stationary phase are in the optimum polarity range of this stationary phase.
- Suitable mobile phases for a given stationary phase will allow for successful separations, but other PSS column materials are more appropriate to maintain a balanced sytem.
For GPC/SEC separations in nonpolar and medium polar organic solvents.
For Poly(styrenes), Poly(methacrylates), PVC, Poly(carbonates), Resins and many others
